The fur of the Kebbit is the only thing you want to keep, discarding the rest. Each kill gives a 36 experience drop, making it a slower but more enjoyable path to training the early levels of Hunter. While it’s kind of tedious, it’s easy to follow along the tracks until the very end where you can attack the hiding kebbit with your noose. You will need to inspect nearby objects, like rocks or plants, to continue to reveal their trail. You will find common kebbits towards the southern end of the Piscatoris Hunter area. The only thing you need is a noose wand, weight reducing equipment and possibly energy potions from all the running around. If not, you may always use a Hunter Potion to boost for the first few levels. Since this method needs level three to start, you can train using another quick method or by doing the Varrock Museum mini-game beforehand. Profitable Training Methods Tracking Common Kebbits (3 - 13/25+) This is useful for hunter training methods that require lots of running around, like tracking Herbivores. It’s useful if you want to get started on a certain training method but you are short by a few levels. Hunter PotionĪ potion that temporarily boosts your hunter level by three. Used with fishing nets to make the salamander trap. Not only is it used for fishing, but also creating traps to catch salamanders. Needed to gather wood for deadfall traps. This item is used to trap chinchompas: from gray to black. You will likely only use this for low level training. The only problem with doing that is that you need to die quickly enough to get back to the first dropped scroll before it disappears. This will catch birds as they land on the trap. (In hindsight, you could also use the Emblem Trader in Edgeville to give yourself a PK skull without attacking a player, and then die to any NPC to drop the scroll as well. It will also work for 3 or more clues - just repeat dying with each extra clue to give each one an hour. This method only works while the current death mechanics are in place. If you die to an NPC, you'll keep the scroll in your inventory instead of getting it on the ground for an hour. The reason you need to be killed by a player is to force your untradeables to drop to the ground. Complete it, and you'll have finished both clues without having to juggle them through each step. Complete it.ĥ) As long as you finished the first clue within an hour, return to the spot in the wilderness where you died, and retrieve the second clue (the one you died with). This will drop the first scroll on the ground, and hold it there for an hour before it disappears.Ĥ) Return to the ditch and pick up the first clue (the one you manually dropped there). Skull on your friend/target, and let them kill you. Alternatively, use world 318 to get a target of your level from Bounty Hunter if no friends are available.ģ) Leave one clue on the ground by the ditch, and take the other into the wilderness. (In my case, I was killing guards in Falador and received a second medium scroll drop faster than I could pick up the first).Ģ) Move both scrolls to Edgeville, bank all your items but the scrolls, and have a friend of your combat level meet you at the ditch.

Here are the steps:ġ) Have a situation where two clues of the same level drop on the ground. This might be obvious to some people, but I just thought of it to finish two scrolls and I figured I would share it. For more information about account bans, click here. Feel like sharing?
